What are Fine Art Prints?

Fine art prints are made to order and printed on 100% cotton hot press paper with a matte finish. It has excellent image sharpness and optimal color density and gradation. The thickness and surface texture of this fine art paper provides both substance and beauty. 

To preserve the character and age of the artwork, grain, cracking, and
general wear will be visible in the reproduction.
Frame not included.
Crops will vary depending on the print size ordered.
Each computer screen is different, so the color may vary.  

    What is a Masonite Mounted Print?

    Masonite is a mounting surface that provides a heavy-duty and long-lasting backing to your fine art print. It's 1/8" thick and allows you to display your art with or without a frame. Mounting your work on masonite is an excellent option if you have a frame that doesn't have a back. 

    Masonite is available on select artwork and in sizes 8x10, 11x14, 16x20, and 20x30. If you order masonite, your print is still printed on fine art paper.

    Can you explain digital downloads?

    You'll receive three high resolution files for printing with the lab of your choice. File rations included are:

    2:3 for printing at 4x6, 8x12, 12x18, etc
    4:5 for printing the following sizes: 8x10, 11x14, 16x20, etc
    5:7 for printing a 5x7

    Do you offer refunds?

    Products are made to order, so all sales are final. However, if there are any issues, please contact the shop immediately so we can try to find a solution.

    Do you ship outside of the United States?

    We currently only offer shipping to the United States and Canada, but have plans to expand in the future. Please check back for updated shipping information.
    When will I receive my print order?

    Allow up to 8 business days for production. Once your product has shipped, you’ll receive an email with your shipping information. Shipping can take up to 8 business days. You may experience delays due to COVID-19.

    Can you explain aspect ratio?

    Aspect ratio is the term used to describe the dimensions of an image by comparing the width to the height. Here are a few common ratios for common frame sizes.

    • 3:4 = 3 x 4, 6 x 8, 9 x 12, 12 x 16, 18 x 24, 30 x 40, 36 x 48

    • 5:7 = 5 x 7, 10 x 14, 20 x 28,

    • 4:5 = 8 x 10, 16 x 20, 24 x 30 

    • 11 to 14 = 11 x 14, 22 x 28  ( Use file 4_5Ratio for this.)

    • 1 to 1 = 6 x 6, 12 x 12 

    • 2:3 = 2 x 3. 6 x 9, 12 x 18, 16 x 24, 20 x 30, 24 x 36 

    Can I order a custom size?

    Yes we can. Please send a message and we will setup a custom order for you.

    How large can I print my digital file?

    The sizes listed on the product page are what we recommend for the highest print quality. If you wish to make it larger than the biggest size listed, you may experience quality loss. We will not enlarge digital files.
